Update!! An open letter

As you can imagine it's been an exciting couple of months for me. During the search for my next role I've been learning about some exciting companies, reconnected with some former colleagues, and gotten to know some wonderful people. Conversations that are no doubt helping to guide me and I look forward to  continued input on my process.

A couple of interesting and unexpected facts: I've more than doubled my Twitter following by providing insightful content through my posts. My LinkedIn profile has enjoyed similar gains as I continue to reach out with personal messages to like-minded individuals who are passionate about revenue, growth and technology. It's affirming to see my old and newly acquired knowledge be of use - even to people I've never even met!

I've discovered a new (new to me) word that I hope to make common place in marketing and sales circles everywhere... "Bardo". It's a Tibetan Buddhism word meaning in between. The stage between death and rebirth specifically. Similar to where some of our opportunities get lost or forgotten about. I open to suggestions about how I might use this in a post or any other thoughts you have around the sentiment. Do you find opportunities disappearing into the black hole of customer day-to-day operations? Finding sales cycles extending? What are your thoughts on counteracting this revenue delaying phenomenon?

It's a great time of year so get out there and enjoy all the find things summer has to offer. In the meantime, if I can help you in anyway, please don't hesitate to reach out - would love to hear what you've been up to!

Be sure to share my blog!

Best,
Mike
